| Please, do not reply to this e-mail The work planned for week 3 from 16 to 20 January focused on weed fumigation, grass mowing, pruning of pennisetum in front of phase 1, prunning of nasellas and manual weeding in Phases 2, 7 & 1, cleaning of leaves, mechanical weed removal, tree pruning in Phase 7, etc. However, due to the strong winds, the fumigation had to be postponed and concentrate their efforts in repositioning of stakes in fallen trees mainly in phases 7, 1 and 5, removal of broken branches, and removal of tumble weeds in Phase 7. REMOVAL OF A DANGEROUS PALM TREE – HEALTH & SAFETY Below is the information provided by STV related to the removal of a dangerous palm tree in Phase 6: “We have detected a dangerous palm tree in pool 6.1 and with the gusts of wind we are having this season it would be advisable to remove it before it falls causing further damage”. Therefore, they were instructed to go ahead with the removal as a matter of urgency. The work was done on Friday last week. The pictures below show the before and after of the area. And if the weather permits, the fumigation has been planned again for this week. The gardeners will place warning signs on those areas of fumigation the day before it starts.
