Dear Owner of Hacienda Riquelme,
The first thing to say is that Resortalia didn’t turn up for the meeting, which started without them. The voting was seriously disrupted by the arrival of the police, who were called by someone to say we were breaching the COVID-19 restrictions to have the EGM’s cancelled. The police were there for about 45 minutes before they left, satisfied that everything was OK.
Normally, at the building’s AGM’s we get about 120 people attending and voting. There is also about 100 proxies, making a total of 220 votes.
Yesterday we had 679 votes either by proxy or those owners attending the meeting at El Cason terrace. The number of votes totalled 679, of which 633 voted for HRGR Admin inhouse admin, and 23 voted to remain with Resortalia and only 11 abstentions, including those buildings where the Building President did not call an EGM. There were 12 ineligible proxy forms we were unable to include in the voting.
EGM`s were called in 70 out of the 78 buildings on the Resort. A total of 69 buildings who asked for EGM’s have voted in favour of replacing Resortalia with our inhouse team HRGR Admin. In the link below you will see how the voting went in each Phase.
Results of the voting in each Phase
If any of the 8 buildings who didn’t call an EGM want to gain the benefit of reduced costs and better service by going with our inhouse team, they can call an EGM at any time. This will require the Building President to request one but if they won’t do it you can get one by having 25% of the owners in the building agreeing to have one. Of course, you may not have access to all the owners contact details in the building. To get your email to your neighbours in your building you can give your email to your administrator to send it out on your behalf.
On behalf of the Board thank you to the 48 owners attending and voting in person at the EGM at EL Cason terrace and the 631 proxy votes in total we received.
Thank you
