Response to the allegations made by Resortalia email yesterday
Last week many of you received a proposal from Resortalia offering better service, improvements and annual fees with discounts. Also, interestingly, Resortalia are suddenly offering discounts if you remain with them and suggesting several changes to how you should manage your building´s accounts. Why, you may ask, did they not offer these in their proposal when we asked for their tender for 2021. Perhaps it was because it would have made a lot more work for them. It was their idea to do it this way from our inception. And why have they not suggested these changes over the last 12 years? The link below shows the fees breakdown from what is being charged this year, the original proposal from Resortalia as well as the revised proposal and the self admin fees for 2021.
Administration Comparison Fees
It is essential to remember that the Resortalia fees you have been offered in their proposal will be added to the overall community fees for your building. You will be paying for the same service twice if you vote to stay with Resortalia, so why would you do this? You would be worse off than you are now and any savings we will make could be wiped out for those of you who choose to stay with Resortalia.
Your Building presidents have asked many questions, all of which we have answered honestly and to the best of our ability. On Wednesday 23rd December 2020 you are being asked to vote for a new chapter in HR life which will enable us to move into the New Year with confidence. The first thing we need to do will be to plan the budget for 2021 once we receive all the documentation from Resortalia.
There is no pressure from the Board, we only have and have always had the best interest for the owners … and please remember we are all owners as well.
